A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Alissa Jones is a multi-talented professional with a strong background in loan coordination, program management, and intercultural development. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology, with a minor in Biblical Studies and a program emphasis in Socio-Cultural Anthropology. A recipient of multiple scholarships, including the Dean’s Academic, Leaders Engaging and Advancing Diversity, and James E. Brown awards, Alissa graduated on May 11, 2019.
As a Loan Partner at Be My Neighbor Mortgage, Alissa has demonstrated exceptional organizational skills. She has created and maintained systems to increase execution, communication, and productivity. Her meticulous attention to detail is also evident in her accurate record-keeping and timely procurement of essential third-party documents.
Before joining Be My Neighbor Mortgage, Alissa was a transaction coordinator at Vantage Mortgage Brokers in Lake Oswego, OR and has also worked as an Adoption Program Coordinator at All God’s Children International in Vancouver, WA. In this role, she handled the processing of adoption dossiers in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with families from all fifty states and navigating regulations from eight different countries. Her ability to provide clear and supportive communication was vital in meeting complex criteria and deadlines.
Alissa also has experience in educational settings, having served as a Program Coordinator for the Leaders Engaging & Advancing Diversity Program at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. In this role, she managed budgets, facilitated professional development seminars, and mentored a diverse group of students. Her focus was on equipping students to engage in difficult topics with integrity and intention.
Alissa’s core values include integrity, time management, and adaptability, and she excels in strategic problem-solving, relationship-building, and decision-making. With a knack for organization and planning, she has continually proven her ability to manage complex projects while maintaining high standards of service and performance.
