A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Joshua Baker is a proud life-long resident of his small community in Brazoria County, Texas, about 45 miles south of Houston. Being raised in Southern Brazoria County he has witnessed his community’s growth and is constantly looking for ways to make it a better place to live and work. Joshua has always had an interest in helping others and joined the mortgage industry with the intention to educate and personally assist people on their path to home ownership. He prides himself in always being there for the people and families he assists anytime he is needed.

Before his time in the mortgage industry, Joshua served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 2006 to 2011. Joshua is intimately involved in his local veteran community and is on the board of directors for a local non-profit organization with the mission of ending the veteran suicide epidemic through community awareness, camaraderie, interaction, and constant communication with veterans and volunteers on the veteran committee of another non-profit that positively impacts the lives of combat-disabled veterans by providing hunting, fishing, and other outdoor dream adventures. Joshua cares immensely about veterans and will go above and beyond to help any veteran in need.

Joshua is most proud of his family. He has been married to his high school sweetheart since 2011. Together they have three beautiful children who are active in multiple sports & activities and are always on the go. His wife, who is a dentist, has three family owned practices within Brazoria County, and is consistently giving back to her community.

Above all, Joshua knows what it means to be a great neighbor and continually tries to set the example by leading with his actions.
